Delivery

Next day delivery is free to UK mainland addresses for orders of £50 and over exclusive of VAT with the exception of the following postcodes:-

Northern Ireland incur delivery charges of £13.00 for each parcel up to 30 kilos; these are guaranteed for delivery within 48 hours. If the order is over £100 the delivery charge will be reduced to £6.50 per parcel.

Republic of Ireland incur delivery charges of £17.50 for each parcel up to 30 kilos; these are guaranteed for delivery within 48 hours. If the order is over £100 the delivery charge will be reduced to £11.00 per parcel.

Channel Islands incur delivery charges of £13.50 for parcels up to 30 kilos; these are guaranteed for delivery within 48 hours.

Orders under £50 may be sent by ordinary post at the customer's request on the strict understanding that we can not accept any liability for loss in transit. We will however subsidise these deliveries by our carrier and make a charge of just £6.50 if required.

For all other delivery destinations, delivery charges will be calculated on an individual order basis. Options for delivery will be communicated to the customer, once an order has been received. The order will not be despatched, nor will any charge be made on the customer's credit/debit card until we have agreement with the customer on the delivery charge.

Please note we can no longer send any aerosols via the UPS express service or Airmail.

Returns

If you wish to return any items, whether they were correctly or incorrectly ordered and regardless of condition you must first contact us and obtain a 'Returns Reference'.

Any returns must be agreed by us and the most economical method of transport will be arranged.

 

Warranty

By the nature of the sport goods cannot be guaranteed against wear and tear or misuse but we will exchange or refund goods which may be of faulty manufacture.

Cancellation

If goods are ordered and then not required we may take them back at our discretion but we reserve the right to implement a handling charge of 15% plus our original delivery costs if the goods were supplied on a 'Free Delivery' basis.

The cost of the return of goods will be the responsibility of the purchaser and upon receipt of the returned goods to our business address the calculated refund less the handling charge will be issued only to the originating credit/debit card holder.

Payment

Goods will not be despatched without prior payment. If you supply credit/debit card details via this website, by fax or by phone we will only take payment when the goods are ready for despatch - we do NOT take any money at the time of order for normal stock items.

The price and payment for the goods you order is as set out on our website at the same time you place your order, plus any charges for carriage as set out in the order form.

Vat is chargeable on all orders to the UK and EC States with the exception of zero-rated items or where orders are accompanied by proof of an EC VAT number.

Order details are transmitted over the internet using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with 128 bit encryption. Any of the pages on this website that contain or transmit personal or financial information use this method but because this website uses frames you may not see the 'padlock' icon in your browser. To check the status of the page you can click on the 'Thawte' logo to ensures the encryption level; Thawte are the issuers of the encryption certificate and key used on our webserver.

Disclaimer

We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused either directly or indirectly by any goods we supply or by any act or omission in connection therewith.

There is no guarantee as to the suitability of goods for any specific purpose. It  shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser to determine the suitability of the goods for any application.

All items are photographed and, where possible, described within this website; the onus remains with the consumer to decide their suitability.

In any dispute that may arise liability of Dartford Karting Ltd for breach of any warranty or obligation either expressed or implied is limited to the value of the goods supplied in any event.

Damaged / Lost Goods

In the event of goods being delivered in damaged or incomplete state we must be notified immediately. If there is evidence of damage to a parcel being delivered by our courier you must check the condition of the goods BEFORE signing for them. Any damaged or defective packaging must be kept for inspection.

Where goods are delivered by the customer's own courier or agent, or if the customer has opted to have goods sent by unregistered post Dartford Karting Ltd will not accept any liability for loss or damage.
